Energy Flows Where Focus Goes Shirt
Our first clothing item! I am so happy with how this shirt turned out and is exactly what I envisioned, here’s a little bit of what it’s about -
As you can see in this shirt, the word Wabisabi has been repeated multiple times, some of the words are very simple to read, some are not so easy, and some are impossible to read. This represents a few things for me. The first thing is how it visually represents “Wabi-Sabi” this is because although it isn’t perfect/ easy to read, it's still pleasing to the eye. The second thing this represents to me is mental health and more specifically the waves that I have experienced with my mental health. Some days are great, and some are very difficult. It has taken some time for me to realise that this is okay, a completely normal part of life, and it is somewhat beautiful. As some would say, it has to rain to shine. I’ve realised how this cycle itself, is Wabi-Sabi. The second part of the design is “Energy flows where focus goes” this quote has played a role in my life for many years now. Although I forget about these words, I find myself often coming back to them and noticing them playing a part in many scenarios in my life. This quote can mean many different things depending on the interpreter. However the main meaning this quote has to me, is that whatever you focus on will amplify. This could be a goal, a feeling, a dream, or anything you would like to accomplish. It also means that we should be mindful of who and what we are putting our energy towards.
